Continuing Medical Education
Health meets Food continuing medical education series provides health professionals (physicians, PAs, nurses, NPs, Pharmacists, CDEs) with evidence-based information on dietary education for patients.
Important nutrition concepts are taught through hands-on cooking classes in a way that helps physicians understand the practical dialogue they can have with their patients about lifestyle change. The program helps translate the literature for use in your day-to-day practice, while receiving 3-4 continuing education credits per module. You can find an index of classes being offered here.
Classes run 3 hours, with a small amount of preparation expected prior to attending class. You will receive further instruction after signing up for the course.
$200 per class for Health Professionals. Fees paid for CME programming may be eligible for reducing the cost of the Culinary Medicine Specialist program.
Minimum number of participants per session is six and maximum number is 24.
Registration closes one week prior to scheduled class.
